Week 7
This week was school pictures. Alyse and I were thinking the same thing when we got dressed that morning. We both had on the same colors!
We also did an activity the kids to learn about Newton's first law of motion.
Students: Can you tell me what Newton's 1st law of motion is and give me an example?
Thursday everyone presented their Native American projects. I was amazed by the creativity of all the students. We had some great projects turned in, probably the best ones I've seen! Great job guys!
Friday Mrs. Pierce brought everyone a treat, edible tepees! As you can see, the kids loved them! Thank you Mrs. Pierce!
Wonderful pictures! Fantastic learning strategies! This is the way education should be!
ReplyDeletetepees were awesome
ReplyDeleteThe tepees were delicious! Thank you Mrs. Pierce.

The tepees were magnificent and delicous!!! Thanx Mrs. Pierce
ReplyDeleteThe Newton's 1st Law of motion is when an object @
ReplyDeleterest stays @ rest until a net force acts on it.
Ex. When a team gets ready to kick off the ball, therefore the ball will stay at rest untill someone kicks it causing the ball to move.
Newtons first law of motion is when an object is in motion it stays in motion and when an object is at rest it stays at rest, unless an unbalanced force acts on it.
ReplyDelete(P.S.I love the tepees they were awesome and I love all the creative dolls.I also like Alyse's and Mrs.Whites dress.)
An example of newtons first law is when a bowling ball is rolling it stays rolling even when it hits the pins.
ReplyDeleteNetwons law is an object in motion stays in motion. object at rest stays at rest. example is scootering with no fricion - you will not stop unless an ubalanced force acts on it.

ReplyDeleteNetwon's first law of motion states that an object in motion stays in motion; object at rest stays at rest unless an unbalanced force acts on it. An example would be when a tire on a car starts moving then you hit on the brakes.
